Cadaver No. 3 -- Vase
“The riverbed just on the outskirts of town had long been rumored to be the final grave of many settlers that dared cross the cursed waters. The settlers brought ruin and disease to what had been gorgeous green land and in retaliation, something devilish—be it a creature or the river itself, swallowed their ships with an unquenchable hunger.
As wicked as its history was, I found the clay I gathered from its shores was smooth and easy to work with. Yet, when I opened the kiln and held the finished pieces in my hand I realized something had gone horribly wrong. I hadn’t made them like this… I hadn’t….and the smell…. the STENCH was unbearable. I think they’re decaying.”
Ceramic bottle finished with an iron stain and a red glaze on the lip and inside
