Every fall the circus comes into town and stays for a month. Their production has always been….not the greatest. The tents have holes in them, the clowns arrive booze-soaked, and the children in town complain about seeing strange figures creeping in the woods at all hours of the night.
This year the tent went up just like it always does but something is especially off. We keep seeing. strange lights in the skies at night and the clowns seem stranger than usual and sometimes…if you listen closely… .you can hear laughing outside of your window at night accompanied by the stench of cigarettes.
